George is actively involved in the tech sector. He acts as mentor and assists startups to get organised and funded, and he is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association Technology Committee.

George advises both growing and established technology companies on their structuring, relocation to or set-up in Cyprus, licensing and on matters relating to their ongoing operations.
George is an insolvency practitioner licensed by the Cyprus Insolvency Department. He handles cases of corporate recovery and insolvency and accepts appointment as liquidator, examiner, or receiver in voluntary and compulsory proceedings. He advises clients on turnaround strategies, restructurings, compromises and arrangements with shareholders and creditors and throughout the examinership, receivership or liquidation process. George handles corporate recovery and insolvency related cases from an early stage assisting with business rescue strategies, or during the liquidation proceedings.

Assisted with a $15 million investment by a high-profile UK/US private equity fund in a Cyprus group owning a global shipping management platform.
Performed buy-side legal due diligence for a large US financial services group for the $80 million acquisition of a Cyprus-based licensed credit institution.
Conducted buy-side legal due diligence for a $250 million South African healthcare company acquiring a major Cypriot pharmaceutical firm with global operations.
Tech Industry: Represented a leading tech services group in the financing and subsequent acquisition of a major online fashion retailer specializing in high-street and luxury brands.
Regular counsel to leading Cyprus Electronic Money Institutions, assisting also with regulatory and licensing matters.
Advises regularly international clients on regulatory requirements and licensing applications for the provision of payment and crypto-asset services.
